Danilo Sacchetti, C.PP.S., Ordained to the Priesthood

With great joy, the Missionaries of the Precious Blood in Chile announce the ordination of Danilo Sacchetti, C.PP.S., to the priesthood. Father Sacchetti was ordained on December 3, 2011, in his hometown of Sonnino, Italy. It was a day of deep Community ties, as St. Gaspar del Bufalo, the founder of the Congregation, once ministered in Sonnino and is still revered there.

Celebrating with Father Sacchetti were his parents, siblings and other family members and friends, along with a delegation from the Chilean Vicariate of the C.PP.S., where he has served in the final years of his formation.

He completed his theological studies at the Pontifical Major Seminary and earned a degree in religious education from Catholic University, both in Santiago, Chile.

Father Sacchetti will continue in ministry in Chile, where he feels called to serve, in Santiago. A delegation of three priests, a deacon and a lay teacher from Saint Gaspar College in Chile attended the celebrations. We deeply thank God for this gift to the Chilean Church.
