The Missionaries are very clear about their missions in Latin America: they know they are not bringing God to the people there. God is clearly and abundantly present in every corner of God's good earth. In their ministry in Chile, Perú, Guatemala and Colombia, they walk with the people to help them find ways to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Support Ministries inLatin America Missionaries minister in crowded urban centers like Lima, Perú, and Guatemala City, but also in rural regions outside Bogotá, Colombia and in southern Chile, near the very tip of the earth.

Each place presents its own unique culture and spiritual climate, to which the Missionary adapts and in which the Missionary finds a way to preach and teach about God's reconciling and healing love.

Pope John Paul II once told the Missionaries, "Duc in altum," or set out for the deep. He urged them to cast their nets in deep waters, where they might expect little success. Time and time again, they and the people to whom they minister have found that God can produce marvelous results from places that present enormous challenges.
